Mark and Alison Hayton

Mark and AliMark is the pastor at LCC and leads worship on his guitar. He is an accredited minister with the Assemblies of God. Married to Ali, who is a prison library manager and street pastor, they have two lovely daughters in their late teens.

Mark likes going to the gym, playing golf , climbing mountains and walking with Ali. Ali enjoys cream teas, growing her own vegetables, musicals, and long walks with Mark.

Roger and Pam Bedford

Roger and PamRoger Bedford is a church elder and trustee. He regularly preaches at LCC, and is often a guest speaker at a number of different churches in the Maidstone area. Roger is a graphic designer, running a successful business from an office at his home in Maidstone.

Roger is also a trustee of the Kenward Trust, a local Christian charity committed to helping and rehabilitating alcohol and drug addicts. Married to Pam, they have two grown up children and five grandchildren. Roger enjoys watching Pam gardening, which is her favourite hobby.

Steve and Jude Johnson

stevejudeSteve is a church elder and trustee of LCC. He also leads worship and runs the sunday morning youth ministry. Steve has been married to Jude for 18 years and has a disturbing passion for DIY. When he’s not rebuilding something he enjoys canoeing and playing snooker with their two sons.

Jude is the church administrator and part-time Associate with The Family Trust, taking assemblies in primary schools in the local area. Although she hates DIY, she enjoys managing the projects with Steve.

Mike and Rachel Pearson

Mike & RachelMike is a church elder and trustee. Mike is in Agricultural Sales and has a passion for music and flying. Mike and Rachel have been married for over 30 years and have 4 grown up children and 3 grandchildren.

Rachel regularly preaches in our sunday services. She loves her job as a school secretary, also likes reading and being a grandma.
